Explore Borel Hill at Sunset

March 18, 2018 | 6:00-7:45 pm

This is the next step. This is a yoga-like photography session in a visually stimulating place, a little longer than a yoga class, yet brief enough to fit other things into your day. Learning camera functions sitting in class is one thing; practicing camera skills outside of the classroom is yet another! Get up and join us In-Person.

Sunset is at 7:17 pm.!

At 2,572 feet Borel Hill at Russian Ridge is the highest point in the San Francisco Peninsula. A 3,137-acre preserve Borel Hill is known for its showy display of wildflowers in spring and 360° vistas. We’ll climb (by car and a bit by foot) to a scenic view of the South Bay area and watch and shoot as dusk becomes sunset. We’ll study the light and think about how to choose apertures and shutter speeds, and discover color options within the camera settings. I will do demos, have cheat sheets and get you comfortable using manual mode for once and for all!  ~TEU
